I know he does that. But he does it even when nothing's wrong, just so he can screw around and get into fights and ruin everything for me. That's what I hate the most about him.

He does that because he feels trapped. Like all you do is keep him bottled up in a cage all the time. But, he's been good with me and Taiki since then. I know about what happened with Uranus... and Eagle is confrontational. That's not going to change overnight. But you have to be willing to try... because he is.

Because... Eagle isn't exactly a second personality. He was sent to you... he just can't say by who and anything more than it's his job to protect you.

And, yes... I believe him. He was really serious when he said it... not like being an asshole like normal. We had a real talk, Jamie. You have to believe that.

Well if it's his job then he should be fired, because he sucks at it. Getting into fights with my body and getting my limbs broken and dislocated doesn't sound like protecting to me.

And how can you say he's not another personality? It says right there in all those books. It sounds just like him. And me. I thought you said you'd looked some stuff up.

And books aren't the be all and end all to everything. When I talked more with Eagle, it sounded more and more like something else, not an actual case of multiple personalities.

chaos said that, too - about him being something other than a split personality. What do you think it is, since you're apparently the only one he's deigned to clue in about any of this?
